The 20th annual SUPERSUNDAY was hosted by Supercuts of Los Angeleson November 11, 2018 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa in Newport Beach, CA. SUPERSUNDAY is a day and evening of multiple events, dedicated to bringing education to cosmetology instructors during the day with Pivot Point International educators Jamie Jones and Jason Russell. The day culminates in a Gala Awards Dinner that honors outstanding teachers, as well as cosmetology students and their schools.
Supercuts’ Gala Awards Dinner began with the coveted 2018 “Ultimate Teacher Awards”, a prestigious annual occasion when cosmetology instructors in the greater Los Angeles market are recognized and honored for ‘making a positive difference’ in the lives of their students. What makes the occasion even more meaningful and memorable is that the teachers are nominated for awards by their former students who have progressed in their careers to become successful Supercuts stylists. The Ultimate Teacher Awards segment ended with special comments from cosmetology instructors Celia Assef, Fullerton College and Maria Guadalupe Fernandez, Beyond 21st Century Beauty Academy, acknowledging Supercuts of Los Angeles for their strong ongoing support of cosmetology school owners, instructors and students.
