THE EVENT:

Synergy 2010, training for Pureology "PureArtists"

THE DETAILS: Eighty two PureArtists spent three days at the Trump Hotel in New York City, learning how to create and design in this "Indulge Their Artistry" themed program.

THE HIGHLIGHTS: Colour Ambassador Ruth Roche, owner of RARE by Ruth Roche and Wendy Belanger, Pureology Artistic Director and owner of Infl uence Salon, hosted the event. All artists in attendance were there to grow their skill set and expand and explore their creativity. Workshops and hands-on sessions were held to learn and create the new Expressions and Expertise Collections.

LAUNCHED: "The Pure Form Cutting Methodology," including cutting techniques designed to meet the needs of various types of color and styles, was launched. The elements of Pure Form include Connect (the consultation), Fabric (color and texture), Shape (silhouette) and Emotion (interior design).

THE LAST WORD: "There were several presentations that were particularly insightful," said Kerri Woolsey, "the Social Networking presentation was full of so many facts. I would love to take some of those statistics into my salon to encourage everyone to utilize technology."
