The women of country music have been making headlines recently—Shania Twain with her recent reality show on OWN, Miranda Lambert’s wedding to fellow country star Blake Shelton, and several of country’s biggest names racking up nominations at this month’s CMT Awards. With these talented women being such a hot topic, we rounded up some their best looks from recent appearances and shows and invited beauty pros from Nashville (the home of country music!) to weigh in on their style.

Renae Morton, hairstylist, makeup artist and owner of Lucy Pop Salon in Nashville, says Jennifer Nettles' look gets a lot of requests. "Lots of curly/wavy textured clients love her look and the fact that she embraces her curls," she reports. "[Her] hair always looks easy, effortless and fabulous. She works with her natural texture, and I love that her hair color is soft and natural ... not too overdone or overprocessed blonde."

The ever-popular Taylor Swift is one of Rodney Mitchell's favorites. The celebrity hairdresser and owner of Rodney Mitchell Salon in Nashville, explains, "As predictable as it may be, Taylor always has spot-on hair. She does an excellent job of using texture and different tones of blonde to maintain a signature look that we can never seem to get bored with."
