Why did you choose beauty? I began styling hair at age 18, when my mom told me it was time to get a job—so I decided on beauty school. Styling hair was just a natural talent of mine. I am drawn to beauty and find it incredibly important.
Milestones: Styling Hilary Clinton for the cover of Vogue, working with John Frieda, and opening my three Sally Hershberger Salons.
Big break: Working with photographers Herb Ritts, Annie Leibovitz and Steven Meisel. They have all been inspirational and important to my career.
