Keratin Complex announces that industry experts Woodyand Amy Michleb have joined the company, with Amy Michleb taking on the role of director of education for the brand, while Woody Michleb joins the artistic team as international artistic director, cut and style.
The Michlebs bring with them distinguished careers in the professional beauty industry as top stylists, platform artists, educators and high-profile salon owners. The couple have won numerous awards and accolades, including being recognized among the top 10 platform artists in North America. They have previously represented some of the industry’s leading companies and are known for their dynamic approach to education, avant-garde editorial styling, and commanding stage presence.
As international artistic director, cut and style, Woody will be the lead platform artist in the cutting/styling category for domestic and international shows and educational events. Woody will be working alongside Deb Gavin, international artistic director, color therapy, the company’s lead platform artist in the color category for domestic and international shows and events. Both artists will guide other artistic team members in their respective categories and also support Keratin Complex’s industry-leading signature smoothing products, as well as develop new techniques and collections to support the brand’s initiatives.
Amy’s responsibilities in her role as director of education will include the supervision of all aspects of the company’s domestic and international education platforms. Working closely with Deb and Woody, Amy will direct the Keratin Complex Academy curriculum, develop new education class modules, and lead the North American and International education team members.
