Vegas, Baby!

So I just finished with Day 2 of Cosmoprof … whew! It’s been a whirlwind, to say the least. Last night was NAHA’s 20th anniversary and it was truly an amazing event. NAHA is always tons of fun, but this year they really outdid themselves. Previous winners graced the stage throughout the evening as well as hilarious clips from past NAHA events.

CND Meets The Press

Some press conferences are better than others, and this one was a doozy! CND launched its new "Nail Colour & Effects" line to the New York press last week in a CND worthy all white loft in Hells Kitchen. More than 40 editors met to touch and play with the 50 news creme colours and 15 "effects" designed to layer either over or under the creme shades to achieve countless results.

A Night in the City of Blinding Lights

Ever since January 1, 2000 The Eiffel Tower lights up with flickering lights every night at 10, 11 and midnight. Word is that the Parisians think it’s tacky, but it is a spectacular sight and we watched it avidly during dinner at Les Ombre, a gorgeous glass enclosed restaurant located in Paris’ museum of indigenous art—a very Aveda kind of place.
