Big city culture meets modern expansion with OPI's Fall 2021 Downtown LA collection. Gender-fluid hues of lilac and pink mix with warm autumn tones of metallic rose and rich auburn brown. Bold hues of raspberry, cherry red, plum, and green pine are counterbalanced by post-punk dusty and dark shades of blue and gray.

"This fall, we're continuing our hometown 40th anniversary celebration and exploring an area of the city that's been shaped by the heritage of many cultures—downtown Los Angeles," remarks OPI Co-Founder and Brand Ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. "With this collection, we've blended historic downtown LA with new revival."

OPI Global Director of Color Collections Jill Bartoshevich adds that LA's vibrant art scene was influential. "Ever-changing, ephemeral murals that energize the city streets inspired the 12 shades in this collection," she notes. "One standout for the season, 'Angels Flight to Starry Nights,' is a bright, holographic, sky-blue shimmer that captures the vitality and beauty of downtown LA. This shade is also emblematic of the shift to trans-seasonal hues, with nail clients looking for a variety of colors including brighter, lighter shades, to wear throughout fall and winter."

The 12 Downtown LA Collection shades will be available in GelColor, Infinite Shine, and Nail Lacquer, with selected shades also available in Powder Perfection. They shades are:

• Metallic Composition, a shimmery rose gold that's a sketch of each wearer's imagination.

• Graffiti Sweetie, a perfectly sweet creme lilac.

• (P)Ink on Canvas, a pastel creme blush open to interpretation.

• Espresso Your Inner self, which brings out the inner artist with a deep espresso brown.

• 7th & Flower, an ode to downtown LA that blooms into a magenta motif.

• Art Walk in Suzi's Shoes, a boldly artistic red.

• Isn't It Grand Avenue, intensely dark navy blue that honors museum nights.

• Angel's Flight to Starry Nights, a shimmery wash of dusky cool blue.

• OPI • DTLA, a deep downtown gray you'll absolutely fall for.

• Abstract After Dark, a shimmery midnight purple that your creativity.

• Violet Visionary, a rich violet creme.
