used every day of the year, even if it is a cloudy and you're not
even planning on going outside. |  | I did some research about the importance of SPF on your skin, lips and hair-and each is affected differently by the sun. I also gathered up some products I think your clients will find very useful for everyday SPF wear that you might want to recommend: |

Before applying this sunscreen, you need to shake the bottle thoroughly so the active ingredients are evenly distributed. The fluid is ideal for oily and acneic skin types-as well as people who have freckles on their faces (like me!) SPF 50 will greatly reduce the risk of getting burnt. This sunscreen contains Artemia Salina, a plankton which reinforces the protection of sunscreens. It induces Heat Shock Protein 70, which protects all skin proteins-including collagen and elastin against UV damage. |

| | Sanitas Vita-Rich Serum I applied this product twice a day, for a week straight. My skin has been really dry this past winter, so I thought, why not give it a try! This serum is a highly concentrated, 100 percent active formula that contains only essential fats and nutrients that encourage softer, smoother and more vibrate skin. Sun damage to the hair can result in brittleness; split ends and faded color…and who wants that? No one! So in order to prevent that problem, tell your clients to pack along a hair SPF when their heading out into the sun.
| The sun's light waves are categorized by their intensity. There are
three categories of light waves. These are UVA, UVB and UVC. The UVA and
UVB can both damage the hair in a variety of ways. It can cause
permanent damage to the outside covering of the hair, which is the
cuticle, and it can penetrate into the center of the hair, which is the
cortex. UVA rays are the strongest radiation-filled light rays. They can disturb the hair cortex's fiber-like cells that give the hair its strength and elasticity. It can also damage the color pigments that create natural hair color. UVA rays can also burn the hair cuticle, which contains a web of tiny overlapping scales. When the scales are damaged and they can not lay flat, like they are supposed to, hair will look lifeless and dry. UVB rays penetrate deep into the hair's cortex, easily drying out the hair and causing natural and chemical colors to fade. | |
