Christina Luck (@cjluck_hair)  of the Cole Taylor Salon, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, says her virgin haired client showed inspiration photos of a lighter balayage and a long lob. Because her new client is young and inexperienced in the color world, Luck decided to go with a lived-in balayage and long dimensional chop.

Here she shares the details for the makeover, using all Framar tools:

STEP 1: Using Wella Blondor Bleach with a touch of Pulp Riot Clay Lightener and 30 volume developer, apply in foils throughout the hair. Process for 20 minutes.

STEP 2: At the bowl, root shadow with Redken Shades EQ equal parts 5N and 6N. Process for 10 minutes and then rinse.

STEP 3: Tone with Shades EQ  9V with a splash of 9N.
