Emiliano Vitale of e salon in Wahroonga, New South Wales, Australia was inspired by the iconic hairstyles of past decades and the women who wore them. They are his inspiration for the six styles in his recent Muse collection—updates on popular looks that are showcased here with a play of light and shadow that Vitale uses to create a sense of rebellion against these classics. Vitale’s ultimate "Dream Girl” is a take on Demi Moore’s short crop in the movie Ghost. Here Vitale undercuts the hair leaving length on the top that is finger styled and dried to allow the natural curl to open up and take shape.
