Step 1: De-bulk to prep for blending using #2 guard.

Step 2: Create the design line that will also act as your guide and detail perimeter of hairline.

Step 3: With the clipper lever open, begin cutting 1’’ below the design line.

Step 4: Use #1 1/2 guard to cut hair down below the design line and around the perimeter of the hairline.

Step 5: Step 5: Use #1/2 guard in the open, between, and closed position 1” below.

Step 6: Use #1 guard in the open, between, and closed position 1” below.

Step 7: Use a trimmer followed by a straight razor to define the design line and perimeter of the hairline. Repeat blending techniques on the opposite side of the head.

Step 8: Dampen the hair. Use shears to create a profile guide then connect hair on right and left side’s using horizontal cutting techniques.

Step 9: Follow by point cutting to add texture to haircut. Repeat blending techniques on opposite side of head.

Step 10: Blow dry and style.
