For many years, Pete Goupil had been following the artists behind the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) and the beautiful work that comes out of the competition. 2019 marked Goupil’s first nomination—and win—for the awards, being honored Men’s Hairstylist of the Year. The Quebec, Canada-based salon owner, international barber and educator rocks a signature look complete with colorful tattoos, bright track pants, and a neatly groomed mustache and cropped hairstyle.
