Andreana Nunez (@dreeanaloveee) of Agence Salon, San Dimas, California, says, "This was my clients third session with me. She had mentioned to me that she wanted her hair 'brighter.' That right there is music to my ears!" Nunez knew this client was a good candidate for more aggressive coloring. "She takes very good care of her hair at home and stays on top of it with consistent trims and toners along with using all the right professional products to maintain the integrity of her hair keeping her mane in great condition."
Here Nunez shares the details for the makeover:
STEP 1: Babylight the regrowth throughout using Redken Flash Lift with 15 volume developer.
STEP 2: Go through to the hair between foils and paint with Redken Flash Lift with 10 volume.
STEP 3: Process at room temperature for 40 minutes, lifting to a level 8/9.
STEP 4: Remove the foils and gently dust lightener with 10 volume on the pre-lightened ends for a all around even lift. Rinse.
STEP 5: Shadow root using Redken Shades EQ - 1oz 5N 1/2oz 6T 1/4 6NB. Process for 10 minutes.
STEP 6: Gloss using Redken Shades EQ 1oz 9P, 1/2oz 9Gi and 1/2oz of clear. Process for 10 minutes.
