Client hair history:
"This is her first time with me. She had been getting balayage to a dimensional brown. There were some dark strands and faded warm tones - level 6/7. Her last color service was 6 months previous to this makeover."
How to:
Step 1: Using the "backcomb ombre" technique in foils, apply Schwarzkopf Blondme, starting with 30 volume at the nape, building to 40 volume at the top.
Step 2: For the last 15 minutes, pull all foils out and apply Blondme with 40 volume, blended with Brazilian Bond Builder. Process to a level 9. Rinse and dry the hair.
Step 3: Tone using a color melt technique, using all Schwarzkopf color:
Roots: 5-1 and 6-1 with 1 inch 0-22 and 1 inch 0-11
Mids to ends: 9VM with 1/2 inch Violet Booster
"Some of her ends lifted to a level 8 because of random dark strand placement from previous balayage. To correct, blend 8VM with 1/2 inch Violet Booster to overlay on those area after I applied the toner on her hair."
Step 4: Process for 15 minutes then rinse and dry.
