Alessandro Mangerini, Blow Dry expert, hosted dozens of editors at his Alessandro Mangerini Salon in NYC to help launch two new Phyto products. Modern was in awe as he added volume and shape to every hair type, transforming each woman from good to great.

"It's the little things that make a big difference," he told me before prepping PR guru Jenna Muller. "You must respect the quality and the texture of the hair. Angling, sectioning and overdirection add the preferred shape, but its the PREP that makes the finish look its best and last."

Mangerini demos how to best hold the brush and blow dryer while shaping the hair but it's the tip he gives at the end of the video that is key: "I use Phytopkeratine to protect the hair during a blow dry or while using a flat iron. You want put the product on the hair when it is 70 percent dry. That way you get maximum conditioning and shine."
