When a client is in love with her length, has been all shades of blonde (and it shows) and wants to keep both, a perfect finish can be achieved with the right formulas and tools.

Matrix Artistic Educator Detra Smith shares how she created beautiful results with minimal effort using Matrix Colorinsider, Light Master and Gloss Sync.  Her final styles--both the smooth and silky and the tousled texture and curls--were created using the latest from Hot Tools, their NexGen extended length curling and flat iron

Formula A

2 oz. Matrix Colorinsider 9V and 2 oz. 30 Volume Colorinsider Oil-Cream Developer

Formula B

1 oz. Matrix Colorinsider 9V and 1 oz. 20 Volume Colorinsider Oil-Cream Developer

1 scoop Matrix Light Master and

1 scoop 10 Volume Matrix Cream Developer

Formula D

6 oz. Matrix Gloss Sync 9N and

6 oz. 10 Volume Matrix Cream Developer.

Measure ounces according to hair length.



STEPS:

Step 1 – Apply Formula A starting ¼” off the scalp down to the new growth line.

Step 2 – Apply Formula B to the ¼” at the scalp. Process 35 minutes, shampoo and blow dry.

Step 3 – Divide a diamond shaped section at the top of the head. Weave the hair with foils according to the lines on the diagram using Formula C.

Step 4 – Apply Formula D to all of the hair. Process 10-20 minutes depending on the porosity of the hair.
