COLOR CORRECTION: Multiple Bands to Desired Blonde

This client came in with two inches of her natural color, about two inches of a level five band, another few inches of level seven band and pre-lightened ends. She wanted to be white blonde!

COLOR CORRECTION: Multiple Bands to Desired Blonde

Lauren Woodland (@hairbylaurenwoodland) of @theprocessingbarsalon of Meridian, Idaho, had an opportunity to jump in and save this blonde. "This client came in with two inches of her natural color, about two inches of a level five band, another few inches of level seven band and pre-lightened ends. She wanted to be white blonde." Challenge accepted. Here Woodland shares the details for this correction: Step 1: In a "very tight weave", apply Schwarzkopf Blonde Me lightener, 20 volume and Olaplex in the back section, moving up developer to 30 volume at the top and sides. Step 2: While processing, hand paint the sections left outside of the foils with Schwarzkopf lightener, 40 volume and Olaplex. Rinse after desired lift. Step 3: Root and "blur" the highlight line using Redken Shades EQ 5N and 6GN. Step 4: Tone with equal parts Redken Shades EQ: 9N, 9V and 9NB. Process for 5 minutes before washing.  Step 5: After a trim, style with UNITE products. Shape with the GHD beach waver curling iron to style. "I told this client she would still have some warmth through her hair, but she was definitely happy when she left!"
