Taylor Rubio (@tayrubio) of Kenneth Brown Salons in Laguna Niguel CA., says, "My client came in with previously lightened hair, an extremely brassy band with a rose gold over it that had not faded nicely, and about 3 inches of level 2 regrowth. Our goal was to get her to a solid level 10 icy white." Here Rubio shares the details for this makeover: Step 1: Apply Redken Flash Lift lightener with 30 volume developer and of course added Ultra Bond Seal step one to the regrowth. Process for 15 minutes. Do not rinse. Step 2: Apply the lightener with 20 volume and UBS to the rose gold rose brassy band. Process for an additional 45 minutes, no heat. Step 3: Pull through 10 volume and lightener with shampoo to even out and brighten the ends. Process for 10 minutes. Step 4: Rinse and condition the hair with UBS step 2.  Step 5: Pre-tone with Fanola No Yellow shampoo for 3 minutes. Rinse. Tone with Shades EQ 9N and half a cap full of 9V with a dash of Clear. Process for 10 minutes.
