Robin Del Toro (@ms_robinita) of The Cutting Room Salon, Tracy, CA, continues to WOW us with her transformations and beautiful color designs. This is one of our favorites of all time. "My client Camilla, went to another salon asking to be blonde. She somehow was talked into a partial highlight. She was not happy, so she came to me hoping I could help her."

Here she shares the HOW TO:

Step 1: Apply lightener with 30 volume in foils to the bottom dark section in a balayage application.

Step 2: Once the previously highlighted section is reached, apply a mixture of 30 ml Joico Chrome N8, 10 ml B7 with 80 ml Activator to the base, feathering down while simultaneously balayaging the length of the hair with 40 volume lightener mixed with Olaplex.

Step 3: Process for 20 minutes and rinse.

Step 4: Tone with 40 ml of Joico Chrome V9 mixed with 80 ml of Activator.

NOTE: MODERN would like to point out that extensions were NOT used here. The back of the hair in the before shot is already foiled which explains the diffference in length.
