STEPS:
Before: Model has dark naturally wavy hair with a few bleached highlights. The hair is dry with very little shine.
Cleansing: Shampoo twice with Pre Treatment Cleanser and leave the second shampoo on for up to 10 minutes on resistant and very curly hair.
Preparation: Remove 100 percent of the moisture with a hair dryer.
TIP: with Colour Protect Treatment, you only need to remove 80 percent of the moisture from the hair.
Application: Decide which variant is most suitable for the hair type. See Application Matrix on reverse. Apply in small sections between 0.5 and 1 cm width. Use one bottle for short hair, two bottles for long hair.
Development: There is no waiting time for porous hair, but for strong, resistant and course hair, leave to “sink in” for up to 20 minutes. Ensure ends are still damp before progressing.
Blow-Drying: Dry 100 percent with a medium heat hair dryer. A paddle brush should be used to help smooth.
Ironing: Iron each small section with the KS EasyComb. See Application Matrix on reverse for heat settings and number of passes.
Allow coarse, very curly and resistant hair to settle for up to 30 minutes to maximze the treatment. Other hair types do not need this time.
Shampoo: Rinse for 3-5 minutes before shampooing off twice with KeraStraight Straight Maintain Shampoo and Condition for 3-5 minutes with KeraStraight Straight Maintain.
The Result: Beautifully conditioned, smooth and shiny hair for 2-4 months.
