CORRECTION: Banded Mess To Silver Melt

Rebecca Vejar (@itsalwaysbecks) of Agence Salon in San Dimas says this client, a regular bleach and tone, wanted something more "low maintenance." The before picture shows her hair with inconsistent spots, lines and bans.

Here Vejar shares the details for the correction:

  1. I broke up all the inconsistent spots, lines and bands with a TON of babylights (starting with 15 volume in the back working to 25 volume in the front) being careful not to overlap.

  2. I did a few back to back foils in the front to frame her face.

  3. In-between each foil, I went in with with Redken Shades EQ 6NB, 5N  (equal parts) and a splash of 6T. I dragged down whatever bands were in-between each foil, melting and covering up those blonde spots.

  4. After processing, I rinsed, and then shadow rooted with 5N 6T equal parts, and toned her ends with 9P 9T equal parts (all Redken Shades EQ) and about 2 grams of E-1 from Schwarzkopf (it's great for smoking out blondes) with processing solution.
