Ali Szypiotko (@stylemeali) of Lighten Up Salon and Spa (@lightenupsalonandspa), Budd Lake, NJ, shares the details for this amazing makeover that took approximately 3 hours.
"My guest was ready for a total transformation," says Szypoptko. "She came to me with virgin hair - thank goodness! She eventually wants to get to an icy blonde and after a thorough consultation she is aware this is a process and will take a few more sessions to maintain the integral health of her hair. We first began by doing a blunt cut of 11 inches for locks of love."
COLOR:
Step 1: From Zone 2 to the ends I applied Redken Flash Lift 30volume with 1/8 Olaplex. After 10 minutes went back in to Zone 1 with Redken Blonde Icing 20volume 1/8 Olaplex.
Step 2: After rinsing, I glazed her regrowth area with 1oz 8wg 1oz 9aa 2 oz processing solution - Redken Shades EQ Gloss for 10 minutes. Rinsed. Applied a global glaze of Redken Shades EQ Cover Plus Cream 2oz 8n 2oz 10volume. For 10 minutes.
Step 3: Then we applied a creative placed foil highlight with Blonde Icing 20volume 1/8 Olaplex and rinsed it at pale yellow.
Step 4: Olaplex part 2 sat on for 20 minutes.
"We finished her transformation with a textured bob removing weight and allowing her to show off her new color!
She is rebooked for 3 weeks for another session towards her desired end result!"
