Because we all speak beauty, we know what we mean when talking about a "face frame"--but how do we describe it to a client? Visuals help. This beautiful example from RE:NU Hair Studio (@renuhairstudio and @renueducation) in Leicester, UK, demonstrates how these lighter pieces really "hug" the face in all the right places, emphasizing cheekbones, warming up skin tone and creating lovely contrast. It's also the perfect mini-service for the client who needs the lifted feeling of going a bit lighter.
"Placement is key when it comes to face frames," says owner Leigh-Anne Regan. "It's all about getting that POP where you want it, drawing attention to your client's best features. I apply directly to key light-reflecting areas around the face. It creates brightness that highlights all the best parts of their facial structure and the best bit is it takes around 30-45 minutes to apply. A face frame is the perfect way to keep color looking fresh and maintain that 'I’ve just been blonde-ed' feel.”
