Hollywood's influence on hairstyles, fashion, music and popular culture reaches across the globe. Farouk Systems Global Board Member Patrick Kalle from The Netherlands took inspiration from some famously beautiful Grace Kelly, along with Hollywood standards like the vintage glam of a peek-a-boo wave and the swinging 1960's style of a Girl Group beehive.

Here Kalle breaks down these styles for easy salon results:
Old Hollywood Waves
To achieve this Hollywood asymmetric look, prep the hair by curling with the CHI ARC. After curling, brush the hair out with a large paddle brush to create romantic deep waves. For a more dramatic style, find the best deep side part by lining up with outside of the brow for. Spray BioSilk Shine On on your palms and smooth over the waves for a glossy, polished finish.
Grace Kelly-Inspired Coif
To get this Grace Kelly inspired look prep hair by sprinkling BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Texturizing Powder at the roots and spraying BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Hairspray all over. Backcomb the interior hair in small sections starting at the front and working your way to the back. Smooth the exterior hair by gently combing from front to back to smooth out the style without losing volume. To build a base for the roll at the nape, backcomb the bottom section of hair, tuck under and pin in place. Comb over smooth strands to conceal the base and pin in place. Spray BioSilk Shine On all over and use palms to smooth sides for a flawlessly elegant finish.

Side Swept 60’s Chic
Start by making a ponytail at the highest point of the head. Spray ponytail with BioSilk Volumizing Therapy Hairspray for texture and pull the ponytail forward and to the side to create a long fringe. Tuck ends under and secure with pins. Use BioSilk Silk Therapy to smooth out the fringe with the palm of your hand. Spray hairspray onto mascara brush to clean up sides and back.
