From hair to makeup to nails, these are looks that can be created in the salon for a whole variety of summer events.
Flowers in Her Hair
The ultimate expression of hippie style! Whether woven into braids or worn as a crown, fresh flowers or artificial hair accessories, this look is sweet and playful for summer. If your salon carries floral headbands and accessories, you can suggest using them as a lovely way to embellish an updo or blowout. Wella has shared some tips on how to get a floral hairstyle that won't wilt in the heat.
Spun Gold
This festival trend is perfect all summer long to get hair out of the way on those hot days. For those with a lot of hair, a rough mohawk braid will do the trick. Smaller side braids à la Lauren Conrad or crown braids are great for pulling some hair away from the face, while still showing off some beachy waves. We have tips for getting abundant braids even with thin hair.
The Eye of the Beholder
Festival makeup is bold and eye-catching – just the thing for summer parties and events. Encourage clients to try something daring in eye makeup, like neon shades, unexpected placement or a cool pattern like the leopard print design this instagrammer created.
