From Years of Single Process to a Low Maintenance Color Melt

Nikki Tran (@ tran_nikki) is a Master Stylist at D Rock Salon in Fairfax, VA.  She helped transition her client into a color and style that will be easier to maintain.

"My new client Annie came to see me for a first time. She has two inches of roots,  level 3.The rest of her hair has been colored to a warm brown/reddish color level, 6,7. Her goal is to have a much more ashy melted balayage ombré."  Say that three times fast!  If it's tough to say, it wasn't difficult for Tran to achieve:

PROCESS

Formula A:  Apply root color: Wella  Color Touch 1.oz of 4/0 + 1oz of 5/1 + 0.1oz of /88 with 6vol.

Formula B: Mix 1oz of Blondor +2oz of Freelights with 40 vol and Olaplex No.1. Paint and process for 50 minutes. Rinse and continue withOlaplex number 2 for 20 mins 

Formula C: Roots Toning Redken Shades EQ 1oz of 06T with a drop of 1B. 

Formula D: Melting from mid shaft to ends with  0.5oz 6t+1oz 9b
