Ally Feezel (@hairbyallyfeezel), Senior Stylist and Director of Education at Blonde Faith Salon in Austin, Texas, says her client "came in with unwanted warmth, and didn't feel blonde enough with her current color. She had uneven chunks of dark, old lowlights and a lot of her natural color and requested a brighter blonde."

Here she shares the how-to for this beautiful, but gentle, transformation:

Step 1: Full Highlight with Wella Blondor and 20 volume developer. "I took heavier than normal weaves, and pulled the 20 all the way through to the ends on some pieces."

Step 2: After the full highlight was applied, return to every strand of blonde that was left out of a foil and balayage with Blondor and 20 volume to brighten even more of the ends.

Step 3: Process for about 20-30 minutes under heat. Rinse.

Step 4: Glaze at the root (about 1- 2 inches down) with Wella Koleston 9/01 for 10 minutes. Do not rinse.

Step 5: Then apply 10/01 on the ends for an additional five minutes.
