Paris Hilton's Grammys hair color was created by celebrity colorist Eduardo Ponce (@eduardoponcehair) using Schwarzkopf Professional. Ponce shared his step by step process for matching Hilton's extensions to the rest of her hair to give her the perfect "Mermaid Goddess" look.

"For tonight’s Grammys look the entire vibe was mermaid goddess," Ponce explains. "We decided to keep a sleek, straight look to the hair, and the shade of blonde that we achieved was classic Paris, perfectly finishing off such a striking look."

To color Hilton's extensions, Ponce used IGORA ROYAL 7-4 mixed with IGORA ROYAL Oil Developer 3% (10 Vol.) 1:1 to darken the roots. While the roots were processing, he used BLONDME Bond Enforcing Premium Lightener 9+ mixed with BLONDME Premium Developer 3% (10 Vol.) 1:2 to lighten the ends and cancel out some of the warmth.
