Toni Rose Larson, owner of Hairitage Salon (@Hairitagesaloncarlsbad) loves turning "chemistry into art," she says. "What is this particular head of hair capable of becoming? What formulations can make this come to life? What will my project require?" Here Larson offers the formula and HOW TO on her natural level 6 client:

Step 1: Pre-lighten hair to a level 10. "Using Olaplex," says Larson. "Make sure to follow manufacturers instructions." Blend bleach with 40 volume. Apply in small 1/2 inch sections starting at the nape.

Step 2: Feather the bleach keeping one inch away from the scalp and pull through ends. Work around the entire head putting hair in foils.

Step 3: Process at room temperature for 30 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and apply Olaplex Bond Perfector #2 at shampoo bowl.

Step 4: Process for 10 minutes and then shampoo with ClearItUp by ColorProof.

Step 5: Blow dry hair completely. Color must be applied to dry hair.

Step 6: Section out the hair into 4 quadrants. Isolate a triangle section that begins behind the middle of her ears and ending at the occipital and crown of her head.

Step 7: Isolate a second triangle section with the point directly at her forehead. Isolate the remaining 2 front sections.

Step 8: Prepare the following shade and apply as directed:

#1...2 oz. Pravana Neon Blue +1/2 oz. Pravana Blue.
#2...2 oz. Pravana Neon Blue +1 oz. Pravana Pastel Blue.
#3...2 oz. Pravana Neon Green with 1oz. Pravana Neon Yellow.
#4...2 oz. Pravana Neon Green.

Apply as follows:
Apply Formula #1...Re-touch her base, feather color into pre-lightened hair, pulling color down approximately 2 inches.
Apply Formula #2...Apply color directly on to base color, approximately 1 inch away from the scalp melting color into base pulling color down 5 or 6 inches, (Be Creative!) Work around the entire head.
Apply Formula's #3 & #4...Apply simultaneously. (Be Creative!) Beginning at the nape of the head and working up towards the triangle section. Take 1 inch horizontal partings and Apply formula #3 directly onto previously colored hair approximately 1 inch melting colors together, pull color down 3 inches. Apply formula #4 directly onto formula #3 approximately 1 inch melting colors together and pull color through ends. Once you reach the top of the head apply colors to the front triangle section working from the front section towards the crown. Apply to the side sections, begin at the ear working up to the 2nd triangle section.

Step 9: Process for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Step 10: Rinse with cool water for 10 minutes. Start at the nape of the head and rinse toward the crown, rinse side sections, rinse last section until water is clear. Do NOT shampoo.

Step 11: Condition with ColorProof CrazySmooth Masque for 5 minutes. Rinse with cool water.
