Braids are an easy way to look summer-appropriate while maintaining hair health and stretching time between shampoos. Regardless of whether your clients are looking for a fun-yet-professional look or just a nice summery style, they'll love donning this refreshing take on traditional braided styles.

Salon Mario Russo stylist Mario Russo created this new look for clients that want to wear their summer flowers but aren't able to wear flower crowns to work each day. With the classy bohemian crown braid and fun flower pins combined, this hairstyle is perfect for any day or event. Now your clients won't have to attend a music festival just to have flowers in their hair.

Get the look: Bohemian Braid Crown + Flowers

STEP 1: Start with hair parted in the center. Take two small sections of hair at the front and braid loosely on each side. Secure with clear elastics.

STEP 2: Pull apart braids for added thickness and messiness and spritz with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray to help with texture.

STEP 3: Placing these braids to the side, gather the top section of the rest of the hair as if creating a half-up, half-down look. Split this section of hair into three parts in preparation for a third larger braid.

STEP 4: Add the two side braids to the two outside sections of hair and begin one large braid at the back of head. Braid all the way down to the ends of hair and tie off with elastic. Gently pull apart this braid and spray with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray.
Pro tip:For an even more care-free bohemian style, get rid of the elastic altogether and back comb hair at the end of the braid while spritzing with a strong-hold hair spray. The look will stay all day!

STEP 5: Use a 1-inch curling wand to loosely curl the rest of the hair.

STEP 6: Pin the side braids down to the head to keep them from sticking out, then insert the flower pins sporadically throughout the style. Be sure not to overdo it! A few flowers go a long way.
