Andis educator Jessica Zeinstra is chock full of clipper tricks and tips. At a recent photo session, everyone on set was fascinated as she demonstrated some of her favorite techniques on model Juan.

Using the new Andis "Excel" Zeinstra chose to build up a weight line through the parietal ridge to give him a classic shape. "I am using a 1-A attachment because Juan's hair is dark and I don't want him to scalped," she says.

For best results, Zeinstra tilts the heads and cuts following a vertical plane, losing tension as she reaches the round.

"When he tips his head straight up you can make sure to get a clean blend and nice build up of weight."

In this short video (less than 2 minutes), Zeinstra shows HOW TO easily get a perfect weight line using a clipper.
