Michael Haase (@mmhaase), owner of Salon Platinum Black in Los Angeles and a Wella Top Artist, is also one of MODERN's favorite hairdressers. He sent us the info for this amazing transformation. Here, he offers how to get the look on model Emily:
STEP 1: Apply Wella Professional Blondor Multi Blonde Powder blended with 6% or 20 volume on the mid shaft to ends using a hair painting technique. Paint to leave more color at the ends for a "chunky" application.
STEP 2: Process to achieve a level 7 or 8, then shampoo from the hair with Brilliance shampoo follow with Color Post Treatment and condition with Brilliance conditioner. Dry the hair.
STEP 3: Apply Wella Professional Illumina Color 10g. 5/81 + 5g. 8/05 + 10vol. as a base application.
STEP 4: Process for 30 minutes.
STEP 5: During the last 5 to 10 minutes of base development, comb the color through the highlighted ends for effect, a longer period of time may be chosen. Shampoo and condition with Wella Professional Brilliance shampoo, treatment and conditioner.
STEP 6:: Blow dry the hair with Wella Professional Velvet Amplifier and Natural Volume Mousse and style with Smooth Brilliance.
