Mary Thomaston (@marymurder), a color specialist working at Northport Day Spa at The Hair Studio in Panama City Beach, Florida, as been working with client April hair for about 5 years but together artist and client decided to go brighter and get rid of the gold.

"When I discovered Olaplex, I knew it was possible," Thomaston says.

GET THE COLOR

STEP 1 : Apply Wella Blondor 30/40 vol mix with Olaplex on the root area (a natural level 5).

STEP 2: P rocess at room temperture until the roots matched then ends of her hair (for about 20 min).

STEP 3: Apply Blondor and 20 volume with Olaplex to the ends.

STEP 4: Process until all the hair reaches a very very pale yellow, approximately 7 more minutes. Make sure  check elasticity of hair the whole time. Shampoo, condition and towel dry.

STEP 5: Apply Wella ColorTouch 10/1 and 10/6 equal parts with equal of 00clear from roots to ends.

STEP 6: Process for 5 minutes. Rinse, apply Olaplex and cut her hair while it penetrated her hair. Shampoo and condition the hair.
