These long waves by Anh Co Tran (@anhcotran) will give your client the youthful look they are looking for. Injecting creativity, passion and innovation into every masterpiece he creates, Tran dished up these beautiful waves—which is his signature look.

This style carefully balances precision, movement and texture. Also seen on Tran’s most notable clients like Anne Hathaway, Julianne Moore and Emily Ratajkowski, this is just one example of how he customizes his “Lived-in hair” technique.

Step 1: Prep damp hair with L’Oréal Professionnel Hollywood Waves, Waves Fatales.

Step 2: Apply 8 pumps of L’Oréal Professionnel Soft Curls into hands and evenly distribute from roots to ends. Then rough dry with the blow dryer to immerse the product into the hair. The product is great for body & texture.

Step 3: Apply 3 pumps of L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil from mid to ends for shine and heat protection.

Step 4: Start from the back or sides, always working from the bottom up, curl the hair using the “Lived In” Waves technique. Alternate the curls in different directions and leave about 1 1/2” of the ends out.

Step 5: Once all the hair is done, spray some L’Oréal Professionnel Next Day Hair from roots to ends for hold and separation.
