You may know her as brunette Zoe Barnes from House of Cards, but actress Kate Mara rocked a textured, blonde bob yesterday on late-night. 

Matrix Artistic Director and Celebrity Stylist Nick Stenson styled Mara for her appearance on the Late Late Show with James Corden. See below how Stenson created the look, which would be a perfect style to replicate on your own clients whether it be for a special occasion or festival.

GET THE LOOK:
STEP 1: Apply Matrix Style Link Blow Out Big Queenevenly through damp hair. When blowdrying, round brush vertically to add texture to the hair.
STEP 2: Once dry, apply a small amount of Matrix Style Link Texture Builderinto hair for grip. On the right side from the hair line, create a braid to the curve of the head. Pin the tail of the braid under the nape of the head.
STEP 3: Repeat on the opposite side leaving small pieces of hair out between the braid. Secure the braid.
STEP 4: Take a 1-inch marcel iron and wrap random sections of hair around it, leaving the ends loose. Once the hair is curled, apply a small amount of Matrix Style Link Mineral Boosterto loosen curls and add texture.
STEP 5: Finish by tucking the hair behind the ear and spray with Matrix Style Link Style Fixer Finishing Spray.
