For clients with curly hair, keeping it full of shine and hydration is vital. Nadria Brown is a Florida-based curl specialist and co-owner of the Curology Studio. On her @colormecurls Instagram page, Brown educates both her clients and fellow stylists on tips and tricks for maintaining and ehancing their natural texture. Brown reaches for products from DevaCurl to help her achieve the results her clients desire, and recently MODERN paired with Brown to test drive the brand's High Shine Oil. 

High Shine is a multibenefit oil that gives wavy, curly or super curly hair the ultimate glow. It's lightweight, silicone-free and is formulated with a blend of five curl-loving oils that help provide shine, moisture and enhance curls with a frizz-free finish.

After completing color services: 

Step 1: Cleanse with Deva Curl Original No Poo. Condition and detangled with Deva Curl Decadence One Conditioner to ensure hydration for her color-treated hair. 

Step 2 : Rinse a little out, leaving most of the conditioner in and then spritzing Deva Curl High Shine spray section by section. 

Step 3 : Over top of the High Shine spray, add super cream section by section and then a little B’leave in over everything using the prayer-hands method.

Step 4 : Place client under hooded dryer to ensure that roots are dry, then diffuse with the hand diffuser to ensure the ends are dry.

Step 5: Finish with a little Deva Curl hairspray and High Shine spray to open up the curl and seal with with a beautiful luscious shine.
