Big news in beards yesterday was the removal of one.  Jason Mamoa, the actor known for his turn as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones" and underwater hero "Aquaman" made the decision to shave, something he hasn't done in seven years. What motivated him to finally take razor to chin?  He's calling attention to the need to clean up more than his face; he's calling for a raised consciousness on our approach to plastic.

"Goodbye DROGO, AQUAMAN, DECLAN, BABA! I'm shaving this beast off, it's time to make a change. A change for the better...for my kids, for your kids, the world. Let's make a positive change for the health of our planet. Let's clean up our oceans and our land. Join me on this journey. Let's make a switch to INFINITELY RECYCLABLE aluminum. Water in cans, NOT plastic."
