"A great example would be my client Lynn with hip length , one length, natural level 1 thick virgin hair. Lynn and her boyfriend decided to squeeze bleach into her locks hoping for platinum. COLOR CORRECTION TIME!"
Here Kantari shares the details for the fix, using all Paul Mitchell color:
Step 1: Slice highlights throughout the hair and apply:
-roots: Paul Mitchell SynchroLift with 20 volume
-midshaft to ends: Paul Mitchell SynchroLift with 30 volume
Step 2: Lift to level 8/9 then rinse and condition the hair.
Step 3: Balayage throughout with SyncroLift with 30 volume. Lift to level 10. Rinse.
Step 4: Tone using Paul Mitchell The Color 10P UTP with 5 volume ("this created the perfect blonde canvas.")
Step 5: For dusty pink, to damp hair apply Paul Mitchell POP XG: equal parts Pink, Steel and a pinch of Opalescent. Process for 10 minutes and then rinse with cool water.
