Mallory Galusha (@hair_by_mallory_) of Texas at Avante Salon and Day Spa, Mansfield, Texas, says she "has a true passion for fun transformations and a love for blondes!"

According to Galusha, this transformation was so much fun. "This was a first time client. She had received multiple lightening services at previous salons but was really wanting to cut the brass and cross over to the icy side. I knew I had my work cut out for me but I absolutely love a challenge!!!"

Here she shares the details for this makeover:

Step 1: Apply a super heavy full highlight with tiny sections left out in between foils using Framesi Diamond with 30 volume with 1/4 dose of Olaplex.

Step 2: Balayage/hair paint to every single piece left out of the foils to give that super bright POP of blonde on the bottom leaving depth at the root for dimension.

Step 3: Process for 10 minutes with heat and an additional 25 at room temperature. Shampoo with Oligo Blacklight Blue Shampoo to cut any brass prior to toning.

Step 4: Tone with Redken Shades EQ, one capful of 1B with 3 ounces of processing solution and 2 ounces of clear. Process for 5 minutes.

Step 5: Root shade the bowl with Redken Shades EQ 1/3 9T, 1/3 6T, 1/3 9v. Process for about 3 minutes to deepen her roots just a little more than her ends.

"The results are a gorgeous Icy melt from roots to ends that literally shined Bright like a Diamond!!!!"
