1 min to read

Jaime Salazar (@jimmyhilton), a bi-coastal artist (Ted Gibson Salon, NYC and Cristophe Salon, Newport Beach, CA) is an editorial color specialist. We fell in love with this silver color melt when we found it on Instagram and tracked down Salazar for details on this client with level 4 natural grown out balayage:

Step 1: Sandwich balayage in foil using L'Oreal Professionnel Platine with 40 volume, blended with Brazilian Blowout Bond Builder.

Step 2: Process with heat for 45 minutes lifting to a level 7 roots yellow orange, 8-9 mids and level 10 blonde on ends. Towel dry.

Step 3: Root shadow with L'Oreal Pro Richesse 1.n 50g+ 2.10 5g 9 volume with one tube of Clear Richesse to the remainder of root shadow (which was about 10 g left over) blended with 6 volume developer.

Step 4: Draw down to the ends at the bowl and process quickly just to stain. Rinse.
