Ami Rexroth (@createdbyami) of Salon 8736, Baltimore, Maryland, says this new client (who found her through Instagram) did this lovely conversion and refresh in just one visit.
Here she shares the steps for the makeover:
STEP 1: Apply L’Oreal Studio Blonde powder mixed with 15 volume with Olaplex along the hairline (all in microlights.)
STEP 2: Apply L’Oréal Studio Blonde powder mixed with 25 volume with Olaplex on side panels below temples taking slight angles technique in “teasylights.”
STEP 3: Apply L’Oréal Studio Blonde mixed with 30 volume with Olaplex in a Mohawk section (all babylights using horizontal sub sections.)
STEP 4: Apply L’Oréal Studio Blonde powder mixed with 40 volume with Olaplex for back panels splitting in 2 taking deep v sub sections, again applied in ‘teasylights.’
STEP 5:Process for about 30 minutes then rinse and comb out. Tease and shadow root with L’Oréal Dia Richesse (all except hairline) 9 volume 1/2 6.12 1/2 7.01. Melt down with WOW COMB and process for about 10 minutes.
STEP 6: Tone using L’Oréal DIA Light 6 volume 10.12 mixed with Olaplex #2. Process for about 5 minutes.
