BRAID DISPLAY: Stylist Nicole Fetsis created a cut out on the model with long hair by creating a braid to display negative space.
Lisa Power Salon has just released its signature looks for the fall 2014 season. The looks were inspired by the cut out trend currently seen on fashion runways. The entire Lisa Power Salon team worked with the models to create three classic looks that featured negative space in the hair.
“We are seeing a lot of these cut out ideas on the fashion runways and we applied that concept to hair. It’s a great way to achieve variety this fall with everyday shapes because it gives the client options in styling. We also added signature color to each of the looks to highlight the cut outs," says owner Lisa Power.
Lisa Power has been in the hair industry since 1986 and opened Lisa Power Salon in July 2006. Education has always been a top priority for Power as she has spent most of her career training stylists and educators around the world. She spent six years as the lead educator for ICON International, was the creative lead at her previous salon, and was a 13-year member of the Sebastian Artistic Team.
