Alterna Haircare stylist Nathan Rosenkranz created the looks for the Ammerman Schlösberg FW15 show at New York Fashion Week. Based on the collection’s theme of Furry Hospital, which embodied a dark, gothic feeling, Nathan created a 90s punk-inspired ponytail look featuring undone dreads and texture.
GET THE LOOK:
1. Prep the hair with Alterna Haircare CAVIAR Perfect Texture Finishing Spray to create a base of very textured hair.
2. Take small sections of the hair and twist them into dreads. Spray with Alterna Haircare CAVIAR Working Hair Spray and, starting towards the ends, gently backcomb each dread to create texture.
3. Section the dreads at the crown into a thick pad ponytail, wrapping the outer dreads around at the base of the ponytail.
4. Use Alterna Haircare BAMBOO Style Form Sculpting Clay to create additional separation at the ends of each dread.
