This season, Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau capitalized on movie star glam at Ralph Lauren’s Fall/Winter 2018 Show.

“The Ralph Lauren show this season featured both women and men," Palau said in a statement. "We’ve transformed the men into stylish old movie stars using Redken Brews Hairspray to really keep the look in place. For the women, it’s all about simple beauty and luxury with a rich blow out. It’s dream hair for a woman. I’m using Redken Satinwear 04 to protect the hair from heat and to get a super shiny, super luxurious finish.”

  2. Towel-dry. Apply a quarter-sized amount of Redken Satinwear 04 throughout your lengths and ends protect it from heat during your blow dry.

  3. Blow-dry your hair using a boar-bristled brush to create a smooth, glossy texture without a ton of bend.

  3. Blow-dry your hair back at the side part to create volume at the top.

  4. Apply a quarter-sized amount of Redken Brews Cream Pomade throughout your roots to your lengths to create the vintage-inspired shape and to hold the hair in a backwards direction.
