Rogue Hair Studio in Kennesaw, Georgia is owned by Melissa Meacham. We’ve shared her work before and this recent makeover impressed us because she removed years of box color for her client, Beauty Vlogger Savannah Wallace (@savannahkwallace) and then gave her a heavenly blue with hints of violet. And here’s how:
First Service: Removing years of over-the-counter color
Step 1: 2 Pravana Color Extractions
Step 2: All over lightener rinse (soak cap of Tigi True light white, 30 vol activator, warm water, and Tigi Headshot Shampoo)
Hair was lifted to a level 7-8 all over.
Step 3: Tigi Oatmeal and Honey deep conditioning treatment
Second Service): 2 weeks after First Service
Step 1: All over lightening application using Tigi True Light White 20 vol activator at roots to midshaft and 30 vol activator on midshaft to ends. Process for 20-30 minutes.
Step 2: Shampoo and Condition with Tigi headshot shampoo and conditioner
Step 3: Dry until damp.
Step 4: Apply Color formula: Joico Titanium/ blue base, painted in formulas Pravana Neon Blue/Blue, Silk degrees/Green, Pastel Blue/Locked in Blue, Silk Degrees/ Locked in violet. Process 20 minutes
Third Service 10 weeks later. Final Look
Step 1: Clarify with Pravana Clarifying Shampoo twice
Step 2: Detangle with Label M Protein Spray
Step 3: Deposit only using Joico Titanium on base, painted in blue and violet. Process 20 minutes
