STMNT Grooming Goods is expanding into the shave care category with three new additions to its lineup.
A first-ever collaboration between the Ulta Beauty Pro Team and the Ulta Beauty Design Team showcasing the power of mentorship.

The Sky is the Limit collection from the Ulta Beauty Pro Team and Design Team.
The Sky is the Limit collection from Ulta Beauty celebrates the rich heritage of beauty handed down from one hairstylist to another. It’s a colorfully vibrant answer to the question, “What would happen if you were mentored by the mentor of your mentor?”
Named for “Skyfall,” the Palm Springs event owned by industry icon Nicholas French, the collection emerged from an unbroken chain of mentor to mentee. French is a long-time mentor of Ulta Beauty’s Nick Stenson, senior VP of salon services and trend and Chief Artistic DirectorAmmon Carver. They, in turn, are mentors to the talented artists of Ulta Beauty. In a first-ever collaboration between the Ulta Beauty Pro Team and the Ulta Beauty Design Team, this experience far exceeded the expectations of each of the individual design professionals.
“It’s so important that we don’t lose sight of the incredible heritage we have in this industry,” Carver says. “This business isn’t about fast fame. It’s built atop the incredible, long-earned skill sets and the far-reaching vision of those who’ve emerged from the trials, the struggles, the almost-wins and losses. It’s about someone exactly like the wildly amazing Nicholas French. We were beyond thrilled to be able to bring our mentees to meet our mentor.”
The Ulta Beauty Design Team spent the first day learning directly from the multi-award-winning hair legend. French allowed the team to bring their questions about his work and then shared techniques for some of his most iconic work.
“It was the most emotionally moving experience to have together with our Design Team,” Stenson says. “Our Design Team looks up to us, but we wanted to say, ‘Wait. Stop. There’s someone else you really need to know. There’s someone else who helped us and taught us when we were in your shoes. We wanted our team to feel the emotion of this man and to know how he’s shaped our lives and our careers.”
