The Straw Set was a popular trend using plastic drinking straws to create waves, curls and spirals. Marc Wells, a business man with an entrepreneurial streak, invented Strawllers, a styling tool that replaces the Straw Set with a versatile styling tool in five cylindrical sizes.

Strawllers are designed to minimize drying time and maintain the integrity of the hair while creating curls, twists, rolls, coils and voluminous waves. Veronique Morrison, texture education specialist, submitted this look that was created with the smallest size Strawllers Rollers to create density and definition.

GET THE LOOK:

Shampoo hair with Strawllers Hydrating and Detangling Shampoo, followed by Strawllers Soy and Pomegranate Conditioner.  Apply Strawllers Foam Wrap and Set lotion.

Part hair in the direction of desired movement. Starting at the hairline and using the temple as a guide, spiral the hair vertically around the tool and secure. Follow this pattern around the perimeter until complete. For added interest, alternate different size Strawllers. Complete the crown area in the same manner, positioning rollers toward the front hairline and secure. Dry completely and remove rods.

Finger-twirl sections creatively to enhance and define pattern. Finish with Strawllers Spray Shine to highlight details. Visit strawllers.com.
