Celebrating the beauty and grace of texture in the hair, the InterMixture collection by Arrojo offers fresh and contemporary inspiration to light the creative spark of hairdressers, while giving clients a new range of sexy and vivacious styles.
“InterMixture uses American Wave trends and techniques to present a collection of tumbling textures mixed into a variety of modern classic colors and signature scissor and razor cuts,” says Lina Arrojo, whose creative cuts were tailored to give space and freedom for the waves and curls to take perfect shape. “Championing the free-spirited eternal elegance of tousled movement in the hair, these
vivacious styles suit the easy-going and versatile fashion and beauty zeitgeist for loose textures, bombshell beach waves, and amped up volume.”
Using new American Wave wraps featuring tighter curl patterns starting at the nape, with significantly looser curls through the top, these editorially inspired wraps put more structure into styles. These new techniques include:
CURL GRADUATION (Advanced Style Support): Uses the same sectioning pattern as a graduated bob and works up the head starting with smaller size soft tools at the roots, transitioning to larger sized tools through the top.
ZIG ZAG EXPANSION (Advanced Expansion Wrap): Sectioned in small triangles, the wrap goes in opposing directions to create expansion and also goes from smaller sized soft tools at the roots, transitioning to larger sizes through the top.
CRISS CROSS (Advanced Beach Wrap): Wrapped on the flat parts of the head, like the original American Wave beach wave wrap, but without the drag. The drag comes from the criss-cross in the top horse-shoe section.
Arrojo also introduces AMERICAN COLOR WAVE, suitable to use on bleached or heavily highlighted hair. The original American Wave is suitable for all hair types, including many permanent and demi-permanent colors, but Color Wave is designed specifically for those clients that want bombshell blonde color to go with bombshell beach waves.
American Wave is a professional salon service to create a variety of permanent textures, from soft wave and curl patterns to bounce, body and movement and shapely curls. Hundreds of salons have been certified by ARROJO to practice American Wave Trends & Techniques & these new looks will shared with them, and at upcoming ARROJO shows and seminars
