Matrix Artistic Team members Brian and Sandra Smith take a realistic approach to creating wearable style and color that captures the spirit and personality of the individual. So when they gave makeovers to three individuals, the duo took the appropriate steps to ensure satisfied results.

“Building trust through caring, giving, respect, compassion and empathy, establishes a mutual relationship,” the Smiths say. “Then the client knows we have their best interest at heart and they will allow us to do services we think are best for their personal enhancement. The power of your profession as a hairdresser enables you to make people—every client, every day—feel beautiful. What a privilege. What a gift to share, to give. What a rare opportunity— our art, the art of the makeover.”
