The Hair Loss Control Clinic, based in Albany, New York, has been treating hair loss and thinning hair for more than 25 years. The company specializes in laser hair loss treatments with low-level lasers and a line of hair loss control products, HLCC Scripts, along with client consultation on the causes of hair loss and various treatment options.
HLCC has branches around the world and the HLCC UK Ltd. clinic in Leeds, England has just formed a partnership with Toni& Guy Salons. HLCC UK owners Sajida and Saleem Rashid worked with salon management from the flagship Toni & Guy Salon in Canary Wharf, London to open the salon’s new Laser Therapy Lounge.
Treatment of thinning hair and hair loss has become such a growing part of the salon service menu that this partnership was a natural for establishing a pilot hair loss program for Toni & Guy’s salon clients. The Laser Therapy Lounge will offer hair loss treatments for both men and women with all hair types. The collaboration launched at the salon in January 2012 with champagne, hors d’oeuvres, free hair loss consultations and discount offers on laser treatments.
Sajida Rashid will use her expertise with HLCC clients to train Toni & Guy Salon staffers in consultation, laser therapy and the HLCC line of products. “The laser treatments and hair loss products are not just for thinning hair, but also for anyone wanting healthier hair. Some of my clients just use the product systems and not the laser and then, after seeing the difference that results from the products alone, many want to move into the laser treatment for even better results,” says Rashid.
